Hopefully there will never be a default desktop. One nice thing about
FreeBSD is you have many, many desktops to choose from, unlike Mac and
Windoze where you are stuck with what you get, like it or not. With
FreeBSD you can have lots of desktops installed, and switch between them
at will, this way you get to decide what desktop style you like.
