And yes, this is an overkill especially for expensive SAS drives. I've noticed that my kernel dumps do not exceed 2-3.5G usually. Maybe I can collect stats for amount of Active memory used and assume that kernel dump will not get larger than, say, Active memory + 50%? -- // cronfy
