Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, George Cox had

I install a complete snapshot today.
 
>   extremis /dev # ./MAKEDEV sndstat0
>   expr: non-numeric argument
>   bad node: mknod mixerstat0
> 
> Something's wrong :-)

No, nothing is wrong:

x-ctr# cd /dev
x-ctr# ./MAKEDEV snd0
x-ctr# ls -l /dev/sndstat
crw-rw-rw-  1 root  wheel   30,   6 Jan 17 10:51 /dev/sndstat

/dev/sndstat is created as a consequence of creating doing MAKEDEV snd0.
