According to Justin T. Gibbs: > I haven't gotten much feedback on the latest CAM snapshot. If you are > running CAM, I'd appreciate a small note listing your configuration along > with any other comments you have. I finally managed to find the time for that... Things are getting much better than with the Jan. snapshot. I have only one machine so I can't switch to CAM for now and do much more. The results are that my 3 IBM drives hooked on a SC-875 are correctly identified as ultra-wide (for the two DCAS) and ultra (DORS). I still have problems with my Conner CFP-1080S drive (fast narrow, ID#2), CD-ROM (ID#3) & tape drive (ID#5) connected to an SC-200 (NCR 810a) card. ncr1: SCSI phase error fixup: CCB address mismatch (0xf07e7c00 != 0x00000000) np->nccb = 0xf07ebc00 (probe17:ncr1:0:2:0): phase change 6-7 5@00871dd8 resid=1 (probe17:ncr1:0:2:0): MSG_MESSAGE_REJECT received (2:8) (probe17:ncr1:0:3:0): MSG_MESSAGE_REJECT received (3:8) (probe17:ncr1:0:5:0): INQUIRY CDB: 12 0 0 0 24 0 (probe17:ncr1:0:5:0): ILLEGAL REQUEST asc:49,0 (probe17:ncr1:0:5:0): invalid message error sa1 (Tandberg TDC-3600) is correctly found on ncr0 at 3.3 MB/s but the Conner drive on ncr1 is found only at 3.3 MB/s.
