No, *BSD* 4.4 As in 4.4BSD-lite about 8 years ago, which FreeBSD 2.0
and up, NetBSD 1.0 and up, and OpenBSD are based. Refer to the many
history of Unix sites on the net for more details.

BTW, it's trivial to duplicate the function of "zero". Nearly as trivial as writing troll messages in a mailing list.
