I have compiled Xfce 4.2-RC3 directly from sources and installed it
without any problem. Only xfprint did not compile because a2ps was
missing on my system (I did not install a2ps and left xfprint out).

So I expect the port for 4.2 release to not cause too much trouble.

This is on FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE.

Rob.
