Somewhat related- has there been any USB audio driver work done? The
Xitel DG1 is a standard usb audio device, with usb on one end and spdif on
the other. It's also external, which seems to cut down on machine
noise/pci bus. (compared to my SBLive). It looks like openbsd has a
generic usb driver that reportedly works- it would be nice if I could use
freebsds as well.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine, and my tunes were played on
the harp unstrung- would you hear my voice come through the music- would
you hold it near as it were your own?
If I knew the way, I would take you home. (Garcia/Hunter)
