Your best bet here is "TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 2: The Implementation"
by Gary R. Wright and W. Richard Stevens (ISBN:020163354X).  It's not
entierly accurate anymore since it refrences BSD 4.4-lite which is more
then 5 years old, but it's not too bad.
