See the i386_set_ldt man page for more info >Description: Using bktr input (bsdbt848 driver) in mplayer/mencoder (port version mplayer-gtk-esound-0.92.0_2 doesn't work. mplayer/mencoder thinks everything is OK, but there is no video input (audio is ok). Instead of video input I get a garbled still image (garbled colors, and it looks like interlace error also). These are the options I start mplayer/mencoder with: -tv on:driver=bsdbt848:norm=PAL:input=1 On the same machine I can succsessfully grab bktr input using ffmpeg, so it looks like it is mplayer port problem. bktr input did work on 5.1-RELEASE using version 0.90 of mplayer as I recall. >How-To-Repeat: Try mplayer/mencoder with bktr input. >Fix: None that I know of. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
