Having read sound.doc and configuring a kernel it is still not possible to play an .au file with cat rooster.au >/dev/audio At this point this produces a sound much like an air hammer.. Actually the result is the same regardless of the file. Address of the Gravis is set to factory default. If anyone would care to describe the config in detail it would be very much appreciated. regards kim -- kimc@w8hd.org
