For network terminals (ttypXX) the default is "network", which also prevents root logins. This will disable root logins for anything but ttyv0. Note that it is still possible to obtain root access on the other terminals if the user is a member of (or compromises an account in) the wheel group, and knows or can find the root password. Not to mention all of the other root exploits that are out there. :-) Hope this helps, - Ryan > thk's > Saifuddin > > > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Try FREE Yahoo!
