I would better prefer Linux for this task, cause if You'll be in trouble
there is no possibility to get any help from the Oracle support team.
I was wondering to run Oracle on FreeBSD but until it is not the Oracle 
supported platform I should deploy three Linux boxes in my FreeBSD server
farm :(

They say Oracle runs more quickly on FreeBSD is it true or not ?
