My bad. I did not pay attention that gcc4 was installed buy another port. As Gcc4 knobs were still activated in /etc/make.conf: =2D .if exists(/usr/local/bin/gcc44) - Gcc4 was the the default compiler. disabling it did the trick. Thanks.
