When following the instructions in README, it appears that parts of the
patch do not apply correctly to a 2.1-RELEASE system. In particular,
the new files are dumped in /usr directly:

root@time-> ls
COPYRIGHT               etc                     sbin
CVS                     games                   secure
CVS-INFO                gnu                     share
Makefile                include                 spc.c
TODO                    lib                     spc.c.orig
TODO-2.1                libexec                 spc.h
bin                     lkm                     spc.h.orig
driver.h                make.out                sys
driver.h.orig           pccard-test-960123      usr.bin
eBones                  release                 usr.sbin

You can see where spc* and driver* are new additions from the patch run.

Just FYI! I know this is an ALPHA test.. :)
