due that the package format is faster to download/install
that the port format (source), does exist a x11-frontend to manage
FreeBSD packages ?

for example if I want to install latex via the ports, I have to download
252352345 MB of source code, then compile it. If I use package, it takes
only a few.

any suggestions/idea ?

cam
