It probably doesn't hurt to maintain the spell file.  And now that I know
it exists, I'll probably use it next time I get on one of my "spell 
check the world" kicks.

share/man/tools suffers from a similar problem.  It has a lot of tools
to check the man pages, but most of them don't work.  manck does 90% of what
the shell scripts in there do.  It also has a spell file, which is out of 
date, but I haven't quite gotten around to nuking all of the
cruft in there that we really don't need.
