This is my situation. I connet to the net with DHCP. I have to comment
out 'hostname=...' in /etc/rc.conf.
(How can I have a hostname, anyway?)

When I tried to connect to a remote host and open a xterm or other X
applications, it says 'Error: Can't open display' message.

I set:

#setenv DISPLAY unix:0.0

and it didn't work. I also set hostname by

#hostname Foobar

and tried again

#setenv DISPLAY Foobar

and it still doen't work.

What I want to do is to connect to a remote system and open X
applications on the local X server(my FreeBSD box).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
