I've recently removed my Linux partition and installed FreeBSD 3.4 as my only operating system. I'm interested in compiling my own kernels, but I need to be able to boot back to a previous kernel if my compiled kernel doesn't work right. I installed the FreeBSD boot manager. Is this the one that I should be using? If so, how can I tell it to boot an old kernel? If not, what should I use and how should I install it?
