As it seems to me, I tried to give an answer
(which might be far from what Soren is looking for) in a previous response
to a matter where all of you are far more specialists than I am.

For me "cluster" is strongly connected to VMS (and its unique archtecture)
- where my roots are ;=)

Is the term "cluster" comparable to the one used in VMS?

I would be interested to get some pointer (besides those in rceent mails
to this subject) or short explanation

Thanks for helping!
