So you can decide where you put the files and directories. Here's that
directory on my machine:

[dan@ns:/usr/local/etc/cvsup] $ ls -lt
total 10
-r--r--r--   1 root  1004   373 Feb 24 23:01 config.sh
drwxrwxr-x   8 root  1004   512 Feb 24 22:06 sup.client
drwxr-xr-x   2 root  1004   512 Feb 12 18:53 prefixes
-r-xr-xr-x   1 root  1004  1672 Feb 12 12:02 update.sh
-r--r--r--   1 root  1004   523 Feb  7 19:59 supfile
drwxrwxr-x  73 root  1004  2048 Feb  4 15:06 sup
-r--r--r--   1 root  1004   416 Feb  3 02:06 supfile.non-crypto
-r--r--r--   1 root  1004   161 Feb  3 02:06 supfile.crypto

and under prefixes:

[dan@ns:/usr/local/etc/cvsup] $ ls -l prefixes/
total 0
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004  10 Feb  3 04:28 FreeBSD-crypto.cvs -> /home/ncvs
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004   5 Feb  3 04:28 FreeBSD-gnats.current -> /home
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004  10 Feb  3 04:28 FreeBSD-mail.current ->
/home/mail
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004  27 Feb  4 14:35 FreeBSD-www.current ->
/usr/local/www/data/freebsd
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004  10 Feb  3 04:28 FreeBSD.cvs -> /home/ncvs
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  1004   2 Feb  3 04:28 distrib.self -> ..

These are the symbolic links to where the data is actually stored.

Hope that helps.
