fastforwarding may or may not be useful, but as far as I can tell, it's
no replacement for the net.inet.ip.forwarding sysctl. By convention, you
would normally use rc.conf settings, ie

gateway_enable="YES" #for ipv4
ipv6_gateway_enable="YES" #for ipv6

to enable gatewaying.
