The FreeBSD Handbook section on Creating CDs ( http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/creating-cds.html ) references man pages for mkisofs(8) and cdrecord(1). Unfortunately, these man pages, since they're for programs from the ports collection, aren't currently part of the online man system. Is there a standard method/location for man references to programs in the ports collection? If so, what is the proper way to create references to documentation for ports programs such as those listed above? If there isn't currently a standard location for ports man pages would there be strong objection (for historical reasons, technical reasons, etc) to adding a new man section specifically for programs from the ports collection? (Apologies if this is an idea that's already been flamed to death) Thanks, Marshall To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
