I am trying to edit syslog.conf to log apache starting and stopping. I currently have the default syslog.conf file, I am trying to change with this line. So I added, "daemon.debug /var/adm/syslog.dated/daemon.log" but I am not getting anything in the log. I am using, http://www.bo.infn.it/alice/alice-doc/mll-doc/duix/admgde/node74.html as a reference.
