Synopsis: Doesnt start up, it hangs on an "$" sign State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: remko State-Changed-When: Thu Mar 7 21:07:44 UTC 2013 State-Changed-Why: Hello, this is not a PR but a user question. Can I please point you to http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/basics.html which gives you the unix basics. Ofcourse 'ls' doesn't give you output when just installed, because you do not have files in your homedir yet. I think the URL with the rest of the handbook might give you more clue on how the OS works. Best regards, Remko http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=176709
