   This has nothing to do with freefall.cdrom.com (aka www.freebsd.org).
Pay attention to the host you're actually reaching.  The host you're
trying to connect to is opus.cts.ctw.edu.  It may be anything from a
bad route, loaded server, network attacks on any end.
