Hi All, Special thanks to Paul for his answer. As reported to Paul (Sorry I have been rude I forgot to post the group)I = am still facing some problems as it seems that the machine does not "load" t= he software downloaded fom the Digital FTP server. Could it be linked to some switch config inside the machine? As I have been browsing thru various documents lately I finaly found out = that the alpha had two sets of "flash" roms, one for each "system" ARC and SRM= , maybe the "system" version I have is already loaded for SRM and it is jus= t question to know how to activate it??? Current version of my arc system seems to be 4.56. Thanks for your comments and sorry to waste your time as I am sure you al= ready answered that kind of questions a thousand times.
