  * Either wrong comment in make.conf or lack of bsd.port.mk support,
  *  ask Satoshi, our portsmaster.

 We never supported this variable in bsd.port.mk. I can put it in if
 people want.

 What would the semantics be? Should I just add it to fetch's
 environment if this variable is defined, or should I add "-p" to
 FETCH_BEFORE_ARGS?
