Hmm.  That's not quite what I want.  I'd want to be able to say
something like:

    "if any files in etc/rc.d change, then tell me all the
     files in there which have changed, and ask me if I want
     to just-install all of them, or prompt for each one"

Then do the same for some other directories (etc/pam.d, the
periodic ones, maybe something else).

I haven't been motivated enough to actually write a hook for
that, though...

The mignore will be welcome for /etc/motd, which I never want
to change.
