Ugh, sorry for the latent reply, I've been running around all week.

My original patch was against mysql322 that would have you specify 
CLIENT_ONLY=yes on the command line to build a client only install.  I
like the idea of having mysql-client setting this and then calling 
mysql322 though.

My only question is in regards to the PLIST.  Is there a "clean" way of 
changing the contents of PLIST from within the Makefile?
