Dos 5.0 will boot and work pretty well.

OpenDOS will boot off a floppy, or a floppy disk image.  (I can't seem to
get it to boot of a hard drive.)

Dos 6 doesn't seem to boot.

It doesn't emulate a processor - it runs directly on your hardware.
