Consequences are obvious. No further logins could be made on this link, since getty will not get control over this line. >How-To-Repeat: 1. Make sure you have `set timeout 0'. 2. Run ppp(8) in -direct mode with modem device. 3. Turn off the modem (either on local or remote side). 4.
