Is there a reason 'make buildworld' needs to be done as root ?? If I run it as a normal user it fails pretty quickly when it installs make : install -c -s -o bin -g bin -m 555 make /usr/obj/usr/source/src/tmp/usr/bin install: /usr/obj/usr/source/src/tmp/usr/bin/make: chown/chgrp: Operation not permitted *** Error code 71 Shouldn't it be possible to builworld as a non-priviliged user and only make installworld as root ???
