What do you mean by "convert to ELF"?  I hope you don't mean a
wholesale change.  I'd be interested in testing it (and the BSD/OS
stuff, too, if I can find my BSD/OS 3.0 CD-ROM), and maybe building
some packages in ELF instead of a.out, but I wouldn't want to change
everything at the moment.
