Hi folks, From reading the sources it looks like installtion from a serial console should work, but I'm having no luck getting anything to show up on the terminal. I've tried the usual, e.g. both modem and null modem cables. The BIOS has no trouble with not having a keyboard, so I've tried a few config options. I've tried adding '-P' and then on another attempt '-D' to the boot.config on the boot.flp image. (Via vnconfig.) It shows the flag is being found when I have a monitor plugged onto the machine, but it just goes straight to the visual config screen and sits there. I even added akey board and and tried '-D' manually and it was the same. Am I missing something? Is this not supported on the standard boot.flp? Does the boot.flp only pass the boot.config program to the kernel as booted after the visual config? thanks, Adrian -- [ adrian@ubergeeks.com -- Ubergeeks Consulting -- http://www.ubergeeks.com/ ] To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
