I did not have any version of gnome at all on my amd64 system, so I wasn't
sure if this qualified as an upgrade or not.  I am having problem trying
to get nautilus to build.  I know very little about all of the gnome
dependencies, so I would very much aprreciate a guess or two about the
most likely problem areas that might be contributing to the problems I am
seeing.

If you tell me I am upgrading by your definitions, I will try your web
scripts, also.
