I am running 0.5.6.2 in RELENG_7 and I don't see any panic. It works fine  
to download about 1.5MiB/s yesterday and have been doing seed at all the  
time since yesterday.

I suggest you to enable debug in kernel and send good details to  
freebsd-stable@FreeBSD.org.
