	I've got an Alps GlidePoint.   I can't stand it.   I'm a mouse
person(I've also got a 13 foot long desk).  I suggest going to a store
where you can play with one in a notebook before you buy it.

	I just plugged it in my FreeBSD box and it was detected (as a
Generic PS/2 mouse).
