It's not something I'd be silly about, but I think it's probably okay
to slowly switch the documentation to "modern" uses of the commands.

I'm all for keeping down the number of surprises one gets, by
following examples.  I'd object to -w staying in the docs after it
becomes obsolete and starts printing warnings like:

	root@hades[15:10]/root# sysctl -w net.inet.tcp.newreno=1
	sysctl: warning: The -w option is deprecated.  Do not use it.
	net.inet.tcp.newreno: 1 -> 1

Right now, I don't really mind if the documentation is either way.
