How comes this? I booted the system, but remembered that i wanted to boot with -v, so i hit ^\ quickly during the rc startup. Thus, i've quit the mount command, but a `reboot' gave me: fs = / panic: update: rofs mod How comes that the root fs is being modified before the mount system call that updated its status to r/w completed? -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
