I'm pleased to announce the creation of the French FreeBSD documentation project. We have made a mailling list at: freebsd-fr@freebsd.francenet.fr. Feel free to subscribe at majordomo@freebsd.francenet.fr with in the body of your message "subscribe freebsd-france". Posting for the members of the list are allowed at freebsd-fr@freebsd.francenet.fr. The first purpose of the mailling list is to discuss about this project. Currently we are working on the translation of the FAQ and Handbook. All of the documentation are made in docbook-3.0 format and some of it will be available soon.
