I cvsup'd my ports tree this morning then cd /usr/ports/emulators/vmware2 make make install all that was successful, yet, when launching 'vmware' i get a popup window saying --snip-- Cannot open vmware executable file. Module 10 initialization succeeded --snip-- it then allows me to go thru and create a new configuration. which completes but when i click "Power On" i get: Could not open /usr/local/lib/vmware/lib/vmm (No such file or directory) looking in /usr/local/lib/vmware/lib i see that there is a modules/ that contains vmmon_smp.ko & vmmon_up.ko ln -s modules/ vmm doesn't fix, i get Wrong file format /usr/local/lib/vmware/lib/vmm To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
