One of the recent changes in make (revision 1.38 of parse.c) causes
it to emit this type of warning.  This causes heaps of apparently
harmless warnings in some places and breakage in a few others.
Presumably the offending Makefiles should be fixed.  I haven't been
sufficiently annoyed yet to really look at the issue.
