As I see the idea of the +CONTENTS file is to store what the port has
installed, but the original archive has nothing to do with that. So I
guess +CONTENTS is not the appropriate place for this.

It seems a good idea to have the distinfo stored somewhere in
/var/db/pkg/appname/
