This is OK under the assumption that the sio ports that are disabled
_really_ don't touch any hardware. I haven't checked -current sio.c
but in 2.1R sio messed up ATI cards even with sio3 not in the kernel.

What people frightens even more than building kernels is a black/screwed
up screen on installation... :-)
