Great!  Now, has anybody tried this?

If not, I'll be installing a ton of new stuff once 2.2.5 is out, and
will get Lynx source, SSLeay, the above patches, etc, etc all installed
and see if I can make it work.  Plus, there should be some good examples
of using SSLeay sockets in the patches, eh?
