The multi port card normaly have a PCI-2-PCI bridge on board. Because of that they usual only use one IRQ. Second is the higher port density, 4 ports in one slot, against single cards. Prices are like $460 for the Adaptec Cogent 4 port 10 and $700 for the 10/100 card. (www.isn.com) > What do these cards usually cost? Are they usually PCI?
