Try using /stand/sysinstall as root to configure and enable your mouse. Under the Main Menu choose: Configure --> Mouse Good Luck, Richard ----- Original Message ----- From: Jimmy Hjelm <jimbo99@telia.com> To: <questions@FreeBSD.ORG> Sent: Monday, November 15, 1999 3:49 PM Subject: Mouse under 3.3 Hello! My mouse will not work under FreeBSD 3.3. I've used the generic kernel and a custom kernel (source supplied). The mouse works under Win98. I've tried both PS/2 and serial mice. I've supplied the rc.conf too. The system will detect the psm0 device during boot, but I have to manually enable it using UserConfig every time (along with a few other devices). During boot a few devices are disable by the kernel(?) using "di <device>" commands. How do I get rid of these? I was able to use the serial mouse with 2.2.5. and 2.2.8.
