You put a line in your smb.conf that says "dns proxy = no".

Nothing more dificult than that.

Subject: dns setting in smb.conf

Greetings,

When i run "testparm smb.conf", i find that "dns proxy = Yes"

bash-2.02$ testparm smb.conf
Load smb config files from smb.conf
Processing section "[homes]"
Processing section "[printers]"
No path in service printers - using /tmp
Processing section "[ftp]"
Loaded services file OK.
Press enter to see a dump of your service definitions
.................
        lm announce = Auto
        lm interval = 60
        dns proxy = Yes
        wins support = No
        wins proxy = No
        wins server =
.....................
How could i set "dns proxy = no" ? i am not running DNS.

Thanks in advance.
