When you type make clean, the Makiefile is being serched for the target
clean. You can define target clean as follows:
clean:
        -rm -f $(OBJECTS) $(OBJMOC) $(SRCMOC)
	-rm -f *~ core
In this case all object, objectmoc, core files are deleted.

Usulally, all targets (clean, all etc.) need dependencies, dependencies can 
represent other targets and so on.
Have a look at any makefile and try to figure out.
