Synopsis: [sound] AC97 sounds terrible

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed
State-Changed-By: netchild
State-Changed-When: Wed Dec 28 18:16:31 UTC 2005
State-Changed-Why:
Most probably this can be fixed by changing the PCI latency timer.

Please update to 6.0-RELEASE or 6-STABLE and try the patchset in
http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/. You should be able to play with
hw.snd.pcm0.latency_timer after applying the patch.

If you have questions or problems with the patch, please ask on
multimedia@.
